If you’re looking forward to Tekken 8 and what could be one of the best fighting games of the year, you’ll be pleased to know that it looks like we might be getting a Tekken 8 beta announcement a lot sooner than you might think. Considering fellow newcomer Leroy Smith has been confirmed for Tekken 8 before the game has even seen a release date, this could be a good indicator for some of the other highly used characters to appear. This could explain why it was apparently briefly possible. Some of the highest played characters online in Tekken that haven’t been announced yet include Armor King, Devil Jin, Dragunov and Feng, along with newcomer Fahkumram. The idea being suggested here is that Bandai Namco could be prepping for an announcement of some sort of demo or beta build for Tekken 8. We can also look to the usage stats for Tekken 7 to analyse which characters players would like to see added to the game. Expect the weird ninja to make an appearance during Tekken 8’s lifespan. ![]() That leaves the fourth character, Yoshimitsu, who has been a mainstay of Bandai Namco fighting games for years now.
